Inspirational Words
The Best Expression of Love is Time. The importance of things can be measured by how much time we are willing to invest in them. The more time you give to something, the more you reveal its importance & value to you. If you want to know a person's priority, just look at how they use their time.

Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can't make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you'll never get back. The essence of love is not what we think or do or provide for others, but how much we give of ourselves.

The most desired gift of love is not diamond or roses. It is focused attention. Love concentrates so intently on another that you forget yourself at that moment. Attention says, " I value you enough to give you my most precious asset- my time."

Love means giving up- yielding my preferences, comfort, goals, security, money, energy, or time for the benefit of someone else.♥

the life of a economist-wannabe
on March 17, 2006 @ 8:14 pm

I don't usually look foward to Fridays for the following reasons:

1) I start work at 5am whiche means I gotta get up at 4.30am.

2) I've got uni classes that start at 9am so after work, I don't get my daily nap before uni.

3) I don't get to spend much time with my bumfluff.

4) Four hour lectures with one break in between.

HOWEVER, it was a pretty interesting day filled with economics lol :D My History of Economic Thought lecturer who I'm starting to believe is a Classical Economist at heart since he is writing a book about Adam Smith, disagrees with Marshall's Supply and Demand curve and believes that the production function is NOT a function and that the Supply and Demand curves and the graph is a cartoon. lol.

An hr later, I jot down some 'cartoons' from my International Trade lecture and think to myself...2 hrs ago, we were told this was rubbish...?!!? lol.

I think this one line I read from an International Trade additional reading, can sum it up: "Economists are usually accused of three sins: an inability to agree among themselves; stating the obvious; and giving bad advice." Buahaha I reckon that is hilarious.

I have a big w/e ahead of me. In terms of reading and getting my to-do-list done. Not sure how much of it I will get done, but I am an eager beaver so...
