wow...first day of 2005, can u believe i'm turning twenty this yr?? omg, i'll be in my twenties this yr! i'm really embracing the fact that i'm gonna be in my twenties...unlike some ppl *ahem, caro, hc and jade!*, who r denying their age, who think 19 is old? hehe...well, i'm guessing that they r on their way back to jade's, probably jus got on a train now, considering how PACKED the ct was, esp george st and town hall station -- i've neva seen anything like it b4! so many ppl...
NYE this yr has to be memorable...i guess I'm pretty lucky cos I got to celebrate it twice, well kinda...because Charlie works heaps and worked 10hrs nye, thursday nite was treated as nye for us...i'm so glad i went even tho i was deciding not to go since i thought he was feeling a bit under the weather and my p's were like, why r u making him come out after work, he'll b tired...so i was planning on not going, but then after Charlie calls, how can u say 'no'? I dunno how he does it but he makes me want to see him or be with him...<3 So i went out to Pitt st by myself, I think I gave Caro abt 5-6 missed calls, hc wanted a nite in, and i cudn't ask ellen since i was plannin to buy her pressie that nite...so i was by myself @ pitt st and i shopped pretty quickly, and i was trying sooo hard to shop slowly by goin into shops and trying on clothes that i wish i cud buy, but can't cos i havta save =( So anyway, it was only 8.45pm when i decided to go walk to oxford st, and i was thinking of catching a bus, but then i wud get there in like 5 mins, so i was thinking of goin to visit St Mary's Cathedral since I havnt visited since my bday, but I didnt want to walk thru Hyde Park @ that time of nite, so I decided to walk really slow to oxford st...i finally got to oxford like 20 mins later, sooo not far from pitt st mall, and i was taking my time, and i found HUM music shop open, so i spent abt half an hr in there, jus listenin to cds, i really like Eskimo Joe's new cd, it rocks! Then abt 9.30ish i walked upto jugie...so funny i glanced at the courtie and like, it was so dead, prob something like the earlwood pub, even tho i wud neva set foot in that place...so i went up to jugie, i saw that charlie wasn't workin so i askd stu where he was, and he's like, he's workin downstairs so i went downstairs, and as soon as i walked in, i felt really odd bein the only gal there...amongst old dudes as well, felt odd...but seeing charlie made it all beta! *sighs* omg i even tried the pokies puttin in $1 but no addiction there at all...how ppl get addicted to pokies is beyond me...i jus dont get it...well charlie finished @ 10.30 and we went to check out Cargo...it was prob like the only place that was pumpin, evrywhere else was dead...omg all the gals looked gorgeous and i felt underdressed...but it was a cool joint, even tho noone was really dancing, must go again with caro...hehe...then we went to cheers, had some drinks, omg Charlie, you looked soooo hot that night esp in cheers!! mwah!!...i came home feeling really gud and i had an awesome time...woo hoo!
Now on the second nye, it was spent with frds, we had arranged to meet @ the opera house, and caro said somethign abt star city but i jus thought it was a plan or something...so i ended up catching the bus with joy and her frds, then we got off at elizabeth st and walked all the way upto circular key, a gud 20 mins walk i think...i was feelin so pysched up, seein my frds agen, i call caro and she's like, 'we're in star city', and i'm like wth! that's like yonks from here...so i ended up catchin a train back to townhall and walkin the long way to star city all by myself...it got soooo hectic on darling harbour cos the 9pm fireworks were on show, lucky i ran into mimi cos then i wud've been walkin by myself, phew...but squeezing thru the crowd was a huge pain in the ass, esp those ppl with strollers, omg, can't they carry their kids? it got so bad when i got upto docks, no one was moving, so decided to go down the wharf to see if i cud squeeze thru, but then the wharf ended and it was jus the sea, and ppl were like jumping down from above onto the wharf...but i had to climb back up onto the walkway, so i had to climb up from the freakin wharf jus to avoid traffic...omg if i wasnt scared of falling into the water, i wudn't hav done so, thinking back now, thank God i didnt fall in, cos no. 1 i wud've got stung by jellyfish, and no.2 my outfit wud've been drenched... >.< Sooo i was walkin so hard to starcity, and when i got there, met up with frds...was all gud until like 2 mins later, they said they were goin back upto circular key to watch the 12am fireworks i was like OMG pls dont say that! lucky we ended up jus hangin out at star city...cos i wasnt gonna walk all the way thru that crowd agen! argh...
So the only familiar faces i knew was my frds and some farm ppl...we cudnt decided whether to go bottle shp and get some drinks or go casino, but this dude was kinda holding us back cos he was only 17 but he finished 2nd yr uni - what the? I hav no idea how hc put up with jerry i swear he acts like he's 12! I was jus sitting and he starts throwing bits of gum wrapping down my top...what a rude bastard i swear! omg, like i barely even kno the dude...so i start throwing all this shit back at him...so i'll refer to him as boobman from this pt onwards...abt evry 5th gal that we walked pasted had exposed cleavage and i was jus tellin him to go do it to them...stupid weirdo. Then we went upto Casino level and hc and caro and jack (the 17 yr old, who happens to be a techie stayed outside while me jade and anita checkd out the place...jade needed to go bathroom so we went and jade's like, hey that's yi...and i was like oh yeh it is, so started calling his name, and afta abt 5 times, he turns around...haha...i was gettin a bit frustrated cos hc wanted to go home cos she wasnt feeling well, so then that means the othas had to go as well since they were all sleeping ova jade's, then that means i wud hav been a LONER for new yrs! i was like, OMG dont u guys dare leave me alone! Yi was like, u can join us if u want - haha all guy grp who i didnt even kno, besides Yi, i dont really think so...BUT thank God at the end, hc jade anita and caro decided to stay...
Caro felt like lollies instead of alco, can u believe i'm 100% sober, i think the only form of drink i drank 2nite was hot chocolate haha...so we were lookin for a lolly shop but caro found this buffet place...me and caro shared this kim chee, but we stil sat in the restaurant with Lucy and Will hehe...so dumb the restaurant cos they offered buffet, and like how could ppl tell if they ordered buffet?? so me and caro ended up gettin some free drinks, and rice to go with our kim chee...it was soo gud jus havin a bite with caro lucy and will...*sighs* esp cos its 'free'...omg and lucy has a MAD fone! so pretty...
We finished eating abt 11.40 so we decided to go out and watch fireworks...so damn beautiful! We were so lucky to get the view of three diff venues, we cud see the harbour brige/rocks, darling harbour and the northie area fireworks...omg so divine! the colours were amazing! It was so special to spend it with caro adn hc, anita and jade kinda parted from us, during the rush incase we misesed the fireworks...omg so special...but one thing that shitted me was that i LOST my jacket! the white one, which caro brought today for me cos i left it with her, anita borrowed it, then left it on her bag, then apparently jack tries it on, omg like what kind of guy tries on a girls jacket sober?? what a fagboy...omg i cant belive i lost it, lucky it was cheap and is replaceable! So i got ova it pretty quickly, and also since deddy lost his jacket too tonite, makes me feel beta cos i've been losing stuf lately...jade hc and anita were hungry so we ended up goin to this sushi place, funny cos the boyz were like, nooo not a sushi place! ahaha well they didnt hang around - phew...omg some of the guyz were like so loser-types, eg, they were like, 'there are 1c exercise books @ officeworks', like omg, what a revelation! *sarcasm*...afta that Caro was like, uhhh coleen, i dont wanna spend nye with those dudes hahaha...
the shit thing was, my fone was bein an ass and i cudnt get in touch with joy...lucky she ended up callin me, and i had to leave the gals at the sushi place and make my way by myself AGEN back to central omg what a TREK...so mannnny ppl, i cant believe it...got to central and saw joy and her frds, i was talkin so much, deliriusly happy, joy was like, 'omg why are u in sucha gud mood?!' in like sucha pissed off tone...haha...weirdo...we finally got on a bus, not the 423, but close enuf, it was the 426...abt half way thru the ride, these four irish dudes come on, and start sayin happy new yr, and they sit on the 4 seater next to us and start talking! omg they hav the best accents but this one dude was like talkin jus wayyyy to fast...i was like, omg speak english pls...so funny, they know westlife! thats hilarious...too bad they got off like 4 stops afta they got on...lol afta they got off, joy and her frds were like *swoon*, too bad they were too old tho...haha...omg what's hilarious was, joy was walkin back to central from the rocks, this middle age fat indian dude behind her, grabs her ass! omg i started cracking up! freakin hilarious! i told her she shud've slapped him, but she jus said she gav him an evil eye! haha yeh joy, that's gonna do the trick! But on a positive note, while joy was watchin the fireworks, this hot dude gave her a kiss when sydney broke into the new year...awwww how sweet hahaha...dunno if that makes up for the indian ass grabbing...lol
Okies, its been an hr since i started this, and since i'm chattin to evry1 ova at jade's, i'll get off!
But nye this yr was mad...i cudn't ask for anything more really...evry1 dressed sooo gud, i love this festive season!
