Had another hectic day at oweek, after work, i had a quick 45 minute nap cos i felt like a zombie when i got up at 5.15am this morning! It's funny how you can sorta tell how your day will go when you hop on the bus. Today Anthony and Rico were on the bus, so Joy sat next to An and I sat next to Rico. He just came back from HK and has 30kg worth of new clothes *green envy eyes* haha but I saw another dude wearing the same polo ralph lauren shirt hehe. As soon as I got to campus, I ran into Jesse, one of my mentees and he said something about withdrawing from Usyd yet he still wants to be part of the peer mentoring program?! lol...one of his mates doing Com/Law came up to me today and wanted to be part of my peer mentoring group as well, although I kinda lost the paper where I had his name and email...oops!
Guess who got the most pplz recruited today? Yep! ME!! woot! Wellz I managed to get 10 or so pplz to join up! Yay!! And also made some new friends!! :D hehe I try not be fake when I promote AYBC and try to be on their level so they understand what we are about and then join the club hehe. Last day of oweek is tmr, probably not many gonna rock up anyways since it will be at manning.
I feel like oweek has sorta ignited something inside me. Like I feel like I have been unlit and stagnant for some time in the holz and now oweek has suddenly revitalized and refreshed me :D I also feel like I have stepped outside my square. And I wanna stay there! It's my last year at uni -- i gotta make it count and be remembered haha ;) It's so great that Chucky is involved with Zen club, he got promoted to Treasurer today haha. Although I feel since Oweek has started or basically since this wk has started, we both have so much on our plate and so much has been happening, we havn't had a proper catch up yet. I feel like during the holz, we told each other what we did everyday (which wasn't too much haha) but now when sooo much stuff is happening, only bits and pieces are said. My work hrs are a lil insane and I've just been busy like for over 12hrs every day, doesn't give me much time. I feel Chucky himself is a workaholic :P, I don't know wot kind of image I portray but I dont feel like I am a workaholic. I told my dad about it and he actually said that its good to be a workaholic while you can haha. *nods, APPEARING to understand* He's out at Equilibrium tonite and I'll be out tmr nite wif Fika and Chris @ Space. Should be interesting. :D I gotta admit, its different clubbing with frdz and clubbing wif Charlie. No guesses which one is more fun!! ;)
One final thing before I go, (I'm alone at home by myself - dad's at work, mum's gone to pick nic up from training and joy has an induction at cotton on tonite) - that wasn't it. This arvo at work, my kids swam HORRIBLY. I haven't seen such SHIT swimming before in my life. It was like some contagious disease that started from one kid and travelled onto the next kid within a matter of mins. Anywayz, enough negativity. Because part of recruiting is standing out in the sun with my sunnies on, I managed to get a few shades browner [prob as brown after the fishing trip :(], got a THONG tan, also ACCENTUATED my sunnies tan. I swear to God, everyone at the pool today was mocking me about my sunnies!! grr...even my kids noticed it. Andrew was like, You know what the best thing about Coleen is? I was listening intently, hoping for something wonderful...That she has a sunnies tan!! Buahahah And then I picked up some kickboards to put back into the kickboard room and he goes, Whoa...and she's got a shorts tan as well :P!!! Geez!! I am absolutely hooked onto my sunnies...I cannot leave the house without them (cept when i go clubbing/dinner but even if the sun is up, im very tempted)...but I may havta ditch them for a wk to get my normal skin tone back...sighs. lol.
Dinner's home. Yum! EDIT: Mum went and saw Westlife this morning at 7.50am (i jus got home from work!)...all she sed to joy was SIGE SIGE, OHHH ANG GWAPO!! ahhahaha...o man, they were my fav band pretty much all thru out highschool and I hav been waiting like 7 yrs to see them again!! grr...ah wellz...can't have a perfect day can u?
